1)
Can God use me to lead someone to salvation?
2) Can God speak through me in ministry?
3) Does God use all his children or only the special ones)
4) Who is the one who needs to do the work God, or Man?
5) What about ministering unto the Lord with our money?
Exodus Chapter 3 all chapter. Look at verse 8 and verse 10
1) Pharaoh is a type of the devil who has humanity as slaves to
sin.
2) Pharaoh’s taskmaster are a type of demons
3) Egypt is a type of the World.
The first requirement so the Lord can use you, is that you must
be a Christian.
The second step is that you must be humble (meek)
Num 12:3 (Moses was very meek, more than all the men on the face
of the earth.)
Psa 25:9 The meek He will guide in judgment; and the meek He will
teach His way.
Psa 37:11 But the meek shall inherit the earth, and shall delight
themselves in the overflowing of peace.
Psa 147:6 Jehovah lifts up the meek; He throws the wicked down to
the ground.
Psa 149:4 For Jehovah takes pleasure in His people; He will
beautify the meek with salvation.
If you want to be used by the Lord, you must learn to obey God
Let's look at some examples:
Look at 1 Samuel chapter 3 Read the entire chapter.
1Sa 3:1 And the child Samuel ministered unto the LORD before Eli.
And the word of the LORD was precious in those days; there was no open
vision.
1Sa 3:19 And Samuel grew, and the LORD was with him, and did let
none of his words fall to the ground. 1Sa 3:20 And all Israel from Dan
even to Beer-sheba knew that Samuel was established to be a prophet of
the LORD. 1Sa 3:21 And the LORD appeared again in Shiloh: for the LORD
revealed himself to Samuel in Shiloh by the word of the LORD.
New Testament
Mat 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power
is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Mat 28:19 Go ye therefore, and
teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the
Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Mat 28:20 Teaching them to observe all
things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always,
even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Eph 4:8 Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led
captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men. Eph 4:9 Now that he
ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower
parts of the earth? Eph 4:10 He that descended is the same also that
ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.) Eph
4:11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some,
evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers Eph4:12 For the perfecting
of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the
body of Christ: Eph 4:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and
of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure
of the stature of the fullness of Christ: Eph 4:14 That we
henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about
with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning
craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; Eph 4:15 But speaking
the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the
head, even Christ:
1Co 12:4 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same
Spirit.1Co 12:5 And there are differences of administrations, but the
same Lord. 1Co 12:6 And there are diversities of operations, but it is
the same God which worketh all in all. 1Co 12:7 But the manifestation of
the Spirit is given to every man to profit of all. 1Co 12:8 For to one
is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of
knowledge by the same Spirit; (1Co12:9) To another faith by the same
Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;1Co 12:10 To
another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another
discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another
the interpretation of tongues: Co 12:11 But all these worketh that one
and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will. 1Co
12:12
1Co 12:28 And God hath set some in the church, first apostles,
secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts
of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues. 1Co 12:29 Are
all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of
miracles? 1Co 12:30 Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with
tongues? do all interpret? 1Co 12:31 But covet earnestly the best gifts:
and yet show I unto you a more excellent way.
(1Co 14:12) Even so ye, forasmuch as ye are zealous of spiritual
gifts, seek that ye may excel to the edifying of the church.
Rom 11:29 For the gifts and calling of God are without
repentance.
Why do Christians give a tithing to the church of all that the
Lord Has Given?
By giving to the work of the Lord, are we storing our treasures
in heaven?
Does Jesus want us to tithe of all the monies he has given us?
Who gave us our jobs anyway? Who gives us the breath, and the
strength to do our labors?
Gen 14:19 And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the
most high God, possessor of heaven and earth: Gen 14:20 And blessed be
the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And
he gave him tithes of all.
Gen 28:20 And Jacob vowed a vow, saying, If God will be with me,
and will keep me in this way that I go, and will give me bread to eat,
and raiment to put on, Gen 28:21 So that I come again to my father's
house in peace; then shall the LORD be my God: Gen 28:22 And this stone,
which I have set for a pillar, shall be God's house: and of all that
thou shalt give me I will surely give the tenth unto thee.
Deut 14:22 Thou shalt truly tithe all the increase of thy seed,
that the field bringeth forth year by year. Deut 14:23 And thou shalt eat
before the LORD thy God, in the place which he shall choose to place his
name there, the tithe of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and
the firstlings of thy herds and of thy flocks; that thou mayest learn to
fear the LORD thy God always.
Mat 23:23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye
pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier
matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have
done, and not to leave the other undone.
1Ti 5:17 Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of
double honor, especially they who labor in the word and doctrine. 1Ti
5:18 For the Scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth
out the corn. And, The laborer is worthy of his reward.
Phi 4:18 But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received
of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odor of a sweet
smell, a sacrifice acceptable, well-pleasing to God. Phi 4:19 But my God
shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ
Jesus.
2Co 9:6 But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also
sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.
2Co 9:7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him
give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
2Co 9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye,
always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good
work: 2Co 9:9 (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given
to the poor: his righteousness remaineth forever.
Mal 3:10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there
may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of
hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a
blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
