Pastor Gilbert DeLaO

About Pastor Gilbert DeLaO

Pastor Gil is the Senior Pastor of Calvary Chapel Red Bluff. He and his wife Irene moved to Tehama County from Southern California in the summer of 1982, and started the church in his home in 1986. He has been pastoring the church ever since. From his home, the church moved into a restaurant, a movie theater, a store front, and has now been at its present location for 10 years. Pastor Gil was saved at Calvary Chapel West Covina in 1979, under Pastor Raul Ries, and was ordained by Pastor Raul in 1985.

Pastor Gil loves teaching the full counsel of the Word of God, and is always amazed that it stays current and relative to all cultures. Pastor Gil is currently teaching through the whole Bible for the 4th time – Every book. Every chapter. Every word. As such, you will see an emphasis on the teaching of God’s Word at CCRB. He is convinced God still has the answer to every problem that faces mankind, and that Jesus is still the only way of salvation. Now that is Truth That Endures!

Pastor Gil is also involved in the Chaplaincy Ministry in the community. He is the Senior Chaplain for the Tehama County Sheriff’s Office under Sheriff Dave Hencratt, and is also Chaplain for the Red Bluff Fire Department under Chief Dave Barber. Pastor Gil has a heart to serve the men and women of our community who put their safety on the line to help others.

Pastor Gil and Irene have been married since 1979, and have 4 great daughters together. They also have 8 grandchildren.

When Pastor Gil is not teaching God’s Word, or ministering to the community here, you will find him enjoying the great outdoors as an avid hunter.

Pastor William Del Casale

About Pastor William Del Casale

After 28 years working in the medical field – first as a cardiac and ultrasound tech, then as a medical imaging center sales rep – Del came on staff as the Administrator of CCRB in March 2005. His experience with using a variety of computer programs, designing posters and graphics, organizing events, and office administration dovetailed well with the needs of a growing fellowship.

Behind the scenes, Del drafts the bulletin each week, keeps the website and Church App up-to-date, manages the CCRB Face Book page, helps the Chapel staff with computer issues and coordinates most Chapel outdoor events such as the BBQ/Baptism and Christmas Bonfire.

Above all, Del’s passion is evangelism. Starting with one canopy, a folding table and some witnessing tracts Del teamed up with his wife Jeanie and dear sister Sheryll Theuret to evangelize at the Tehama District Fair in 2005. From those days of small beginnings the Lord has blessed us with Tent Peg Village and the Outreach events you’ll find on the “Outreach & Missions” tab on the Home Page.

You can also find Del evangelizing most every Thursday afternoon in Corning at the House of Brews coffeehouse, a ministry called “Coffee and Conversation”.

If he’s not doing ministry, cooking or tinkering around their home, you will find him spending time with Jeanie, his incredible wife of 42 years, who is also a wonderful help meet. They have one daughter, two grand-daughters, a grandson and one great-grand-daughter.
